So I'm kind of new to dota. I have watched a lot of dota in the last 2 weeks and I am really loving everything about it, but mostly the strategy and teamwork required. I've been absorbed by pro games and various community channels on youtube such as Purge's channel, but I've not played a whole ton of it so far.
I really love the idea of playing a lot more but I am rather intimidated by the general community. It's not too difficult to find someone who'll pounce on you for absolutely anything in this game unfortunately, and in the past I've always sought out chilled and friendly communities whenever I start new games because it is by far the most fun! That's what brought me to you guys  . I have played a decent amount of LoL before but it was with some friends of a friend and they weren't all that nice to each other, to put it lightly, so I am hugely interested in finding a friendly bunch of guys to grab a game with and have a laugh. And this community certainly seems like a great place!My steam account is: ukrangerat So if anyone wants to add me they can feel free and I'll try to jump on teamspeak in the future. I'm around a lot of the time at the moment so I look forward to grabbing many games with you guys! |

I was searching around on google for some place I could find people to play with that weren't taking it super seriously. I was trying in various different combinations of stuff like dota 2 noobs, newbies, new player, etc and then I stumbled across your site. Had a brief look and thought it would be cool to try out.
I did time it quite badly though. I may not be able to play for the next few days as I'll be pretty busy then, but I'll be about soon for sure. |
