Well, after playing a game or two last night with a couple of you all, I figured I might as well post something here. My buddy (MrBigRage) brought me in, so you all can blame him for this.

I've been playing dota 2 since about the beginning of beta, although it was off and on until about 5 months or so ago. Before that I played a lot of HoN. I'd probably consider myself pretty alright skill wise, and a little above that knowledge wise (although sometimes not the best at communicating because I catch myself assuming those I play with a lot have caught on to me by now haha). But I suppose MrBigRage could give a better testimonial to my skill, since I spend more time worrying about the big picture of the game rather than my own performance (probably the wannabe captain in me). I do casually captain a small group of people when they want to play some CM, and consider at the very least my pick/ban skill to be above average, but probably should work on my decisiveness for in game decision making as a team, mostly due to not wanting to make a poor decision which ends up being a poor decision in and of itself!

Definitely prefer a 3-5 FDP role, to allow myself to focus more on the overall game scheme rather than just farm farm farm, although I've been told I'm good at that role as well. Love the long lane solo or mid solo, but just as comfortable hard supporting in a tri/duo.

Most importantly though, I just love the game and love playing with people who get along and can have a good time, win or lose. Can't play every game totally serious, and sometimes you just have to have fun. Sometimes you have to pudge/meepo short lane or just send lesh/skele duo for a good laugh.
