Hey guys, I am a brand new Dota-er,a couple of friends and I started playing at the start of march. I haven't played any actually public matches, only matches against bots on passive and easy. I was recommended coming here from Reddit, so here I am. I've attempted to watch livestreams and videos to help me improve, but it isn't working out too well. I believe I need a more hand-on learning experience, whether it be coaching or playing with somebody giving me tips and telling how and what to do. I do really enjoy Dota, so I'm making an effort to become the best that I can. Any help would be amazing and appreciated.

If you really want to learn a ton, may I recommend the recently added DotaNoobs Q&A sessions! It originally started as a coaching principle but now is a big Q&A. The next one may or may not be scheduled yet (check the Events and Tournaments forum). Anyways, Welcome! and see you around!

Hi Ex Sephrose I'm also new to dota . I practiced a few games and have a friend teaching me but i'm always practicing against bots and playing a few matchmaking. Been playing for a few months now though. Add me if you want to play together my name is Smokey McPot. I'm in Australia btw just to be sure we can be on the same server without too much ping.
