I was thinking that since we know this game is going to be absolutely massive, we might want to put together a series of guides for new players. We could call it Dota Universty and have it linked on the front page. This would be a quick start program that a player could go through in a night to get ALL the basics down. I'm imaging it would be a mix of reading material along with some youtube videos that would easily familiarize a player with the main points and ideas of Dota?

I totally agree, lets combine all the information from things like "welcome to dota you suck" and all the various awesome youtube videos that Perfect and others have linked us to and create a guide built from all of it.

I wish Google Wave wasn't defunct that would be perfect, but lets start a new thread/forum about this and work together to create a "outline" of all the things we think need to be covered (get very specific with it) and then we can divide up the sections and create them?
