On the other hand Maxis is fully owned by EA and has been since 1997, and if you don't think that EA's shareholders mettle in things at the developer level, I've got a bridge to sale you. I was about to get it, then i noticed it's a "always online requirement" game again just like Diablo III. Really disappointed about this. And the reviews don't help. Still love the old Sim city games.

DRM is far from what is good for the player, that said once you get past the always online problem the game is amazingly fun and addictive

Posted by Anton I got past that for diablo, because i love this serie, but on top of the DRM thing, there was so many problem for diablo III when the game came out. With the recent patch the game since to get better, but it takes a long time. Seems like sim city is getting the same treatment. I never got Diablo III because so many people said it wasnt even that good haha. Out of my whole time playing Sim City, I have never had any issues with servers, No complaints. Ive just had an awesome experience building cities with friends

I definately got more enjoyment out of sim city then i did diablo. But they are totally different games so its hard to say
