Attention all new Dota players!

Due to the fact that us new players are pretty sucky, I have devised a plan with the help of fallenelf86 and UnoPolak to create a mentoring program for our new players. The process is simple. We get a group of 5 new dota players and we play a few matches (Either match making or bots) and let fallenelf86 and UnoPolak review the games' replays. After that, both of them will comment on where we went wrong and the good things we did. After that, we might play more games to futher refine our skills and one day take down all the teams during season 2 of the season here on DotaNoobs. To check out the current season, go here. If you are interested in joining this little group, please leave your in-game name and what time is best for you to play these games. I was personally thinking weeekends but let me know the best times with your time zones. Thanks for reading and live long and prosper.

To help out with organization of timings,

I'm UTC +8. I'd mostly be free on weekends. On weekdays, either really early or late (EST 9pm+ or 9am+ respectively)

Why don't we wait for the first test run to go by. A second "team" will most likely form as well. Since we're bound to get a decent amount of Euro and US (some Aussie too) players, it'd be a good idea to have teams set up by time zone at some point for ease of organization.

Now that it seems we have enough players, I want to begin discussing timing. Would about 7pm EST on Saturday the 2nd work for everyone? Times are subject to change. If you can't make it (Players) pm me and I will see if we can reschedule. Get there earlier than 7 because we have 6 players that are interested. Someone might not fit in this first round. Don't be worried if you don't make it in. We will accept all players once we get some more experience with the whole system.

Saturday works for me fine. Still gotta figure out TS3. If we could swing it a little earlier that'd be nice. I'm usually not available Saturday evenings.

So I will be the jerk here, I am heading out of town this weekend. So it looks like I will probably miss this first round, but 7EST Sat should work for me on most weekends. I would probably more consistently be able to attend something during the week, but I understand you cant make everyone happy. Just wanted to give you an FYI about this weekend.

Don't worry about it Zap, this is just a test run. Also, ping me sometime to show you that Beastmaster stuff. I've been playing Alan Wake a bunch but will of course stop playing for a fine gentleman such as yourself.

Can i just confirm that EST is UTC -5?? If this is the case then 7pm EST puts me around 11am Sunday so that should be perfect for me
