Hey everyone! I played a bit of the original DotA, but only ever with bots, so that's a poor education right there.
![]() What all this boils down to is that I have practically no experience in decent team fighting. Thankfully there are tons of YouTube game casts to watch, but I really want to learn more from application. This looks like the perfect place to start with that, so I hope I can learn and have fun with you all. I'll try to figure out how the TeamSpeak thing works since that seems to be the first step, from what everyone's saying. Cheers! EDIT: By the way, my Steam/DotA ID is also looneyticks. ![]() |

Hey looneyticks welcome to DotaNoobs, we're glad you found your way here. Your skills will hone in time, the important thing is having fun with this great game. Be sure to hop on our TeamSpeak server (voice.dotanoobs.com) to join up with our regulars and get into some games.
We're all friendly and more than happy to show you the ropes. Keep a special eye out for anyone with a [C] tag next to their name on TS, as they are coaches and would be happy to spend some time answering questions or teaching you mechanics etc. Look forward to playing with you soon. |

Welcome to our noble establishment - there's rather a lot to learn, but any of the coaches on TS3 will be more than happy to work with you to develop any aspect of the game.
ADDITIONALLY - I find that a favourable view on explosions definately helps to build Teamfight spirit/character/cheese. |

Hi guys, thanks for the nice welcome.
![]() I've noticed that new members come in every so often, but I don't see too many people in TeamSpeak. Do you guys still do total noob inhouses like you used to? I'm thinking maybe a lot of the newcomers are too intimidated to ask for a game, and maybe having a few scheduled once/a few times a week would get more people to play together. Maybe it could be something like they sign up for a specific schedule or what, and that way all "slots" in a scheduled game would be filled. I don't know. ![]() Also, major points for effort on that pun. I won't even try to make one for yours--I can't even pronounce it. Explosions are great, unless it's from enemy fire and you're stunned under it with not even a wand. |

But i'll get over it sometime soon. Why do people never get how to say this: Sipkenop it's a C for a specific reason But this is the way to say it ![]() |

Looney, yes there are usually inhouses every Sunday at 2PM EST. Some nights are larger than others on TS3, depending on who is playing what.

Getting enough super new guys scheduled for a learning IH can be a bit difficult, but is something that we have done in the past and should do again. If you are looking for some confidence building co-op bot games though, just add me on Steam and I'll play a few with you and give some pointers. Cheers!

Greetings! I may be the un-official, official person who has nothing to do with anything and is involved in nothing that may or may not be part of something that may or may not help you gain the courage and guidance needed to increase your level of enjoyment in the dota 2 universe. Maybe You can add me to your friends list and I may help you feel better by not guiding you in the right way to play the dotas. We will have tons of fun though
